Now presenting the complete Mikio/Mio-kun cosplay! I managed to get everything ordered and arrived in time for Alcon 2009 (which I will write more about soon). In case you haven't seen the original picture the cosplay was based on, you can see it in my previous article.

I'm especially proud of the guitar, which a lot of effort and time went into getting it right. I've deliberately left off easily damaged parts for the time being but the rest of it is as accurate as possible to the Fender Jazz Bass that Mio plays in the series. Luckily the guitar got a very good reception - and the miniature top hat also. The top hat can be bought on eBay, but I'm afraid the guitar is a one-off!

Thanks goes to everybody who recognised the cosplay and commented on it. It's nice to know that even an obscure cosplay can be noticed and appreciated.
